Exhausted, anxious and unable to focus, so you turn toward coping mechanism like coffee and alcohol to get through the day. But that's no longer working.
Toughing it out for months or years, but now you're dealing with panic attacks or feeling hopeless and depressed. Maybe you have even started to notice physical symptoms like muscle tension, headaches, insomnia, digestive problems, even high blood pressure?
Chronic stress is ruining your mental and physical health, yet you're frustrated by the common advice: just sleep more, exercise, start a gratitude practice. If only it was that easy! But chronic stress actually prevents you from being able to do these things in the first place.
What if I told you that you're not broken or lazy. There is a better way.
Want to feel calm, focused and no longer trapped in anxiety and overwhelm?
I will guide you through my step-by-step process to radically transform and heal your chronic stress... and still enjoy coffee or wine if that's what you want to do!
I have been obsessed with makeover shows for as long as I can remember. Staying in on Friday nights in high school so I could watch What Not to Wear or Trading Spaces.
Although 80% of college students change their major, I didn't. I wrote about psychology in my application essay and never changed my mind. Fascinated by why we do what we do and how we can change and grow.
After graduating, I took a 10+ year detour into the world of wine. There were many perks to being the Wine Director at Four Seasons Los Angeles, but my absolute favorite part of that job was mentoring other and witnessing the growing confidence when a server began to feel comfortable recommending wines.
All seemingly different experiences with a common thread: transformation.
I always knew I would circle back to psychology and healing work later in life. Covid just sped up that timeline since I couldn't work from home as a sommelier. I started training in hypnosis, then somatic and trauma therapies. Along the way I've added parts work, attachment work and Brainspotting to my skillset. I'm always learning new techniques to serve my clients better.
I love watching people heal, grow and evolve and I believe wholeheartedly in our ability to do so as human beings.
I was in one of the most catatonic moments in my life (pretty much hopeless after a horrible illness) and could barely get out of bed. Working with Amanda, and utilizing the tools she gave me to wake up my nervous system was an invaluable part of my recovery, and ultimately, a boost to propel me into the next part of my life. She was the most comforting presence in my life at a crucial moment. I'll never really be able to thank her enough.
